Our Story
Eleven years in the making
Our story began in Bourges, eleven years ago, with quite a challenge. Two years of long distance, late trains between Paris and Bourges, then Lyon, weekends never quite long enough. But fate wasn't done with us. If love is a verb, this is where we learned to conjugate it. Eventually one of us moved, and the other followed. Lyon first, then London. A few lovely years in our little flat in Angel, and since last year, out to Sevenoaks, chasing a little more sky. A simple, gentle life.
We're not much alike, which is part of the charm of us as a couple. Margaux loves horse-riding and will happily strike up a conversation with anyone. Guillaume prefers long solo walks, often lost in his own thoughts, dreaming up his next entrepreneurial adventure. Eleven years on, he's found his peace, he's come out of his shell. She's surer of herself, quietly proud of the woman she's become.
One July evening in Cornwall, as the sun was setting over Watergate Bay, Guillaume asked Margaux to pose for a photo looking out at the Atlantic. What was meant to be an ordinary moment turned into something else entirely.
Today, surrounded by those we love, we get to relive that moment and share it with you, this time as husband and wife.
